A True Gotcha4Life Champion

Angela Hill - In Loving Memory of Her Son

Three years ago, Angela lost Ryan to suicide. There is not a day that goes by that Angela’s pain is eased or she is not thinking of her beautiful boy.

“There is no ‘moving on’ or ‘getting over it’”

On November 4th, 2021, Angela Hill walked 420kms from Sydney to Ryan’s birth place in Dubbo in his honour. She chose to fundraise for Gotcha4Life knowing that the money raised would be used to deliver mental fitness programs that engage, educate and empower Australians to end suicide.

Angela raised an incredible $22,587

“The walk was such an enriching and rewarding experience’. With the support of her dad who showed up in every town talking to the locals about the purpose of the walk and taking donations, Angela was eternally grateful for his love and all the support from friends along the way.”

Angela is a true Gotcha4Life champion. We thank her for sharing her story and taking action to help us reach our vision of zero suicides.

“The walk was such an enriching and rewarding experience.”
